About

I’m a children’s writer living in the middle of the Canadian prairies who enjoys the jungle heat and humidity of the summer and the arctic chill of the winter. My chapter book, “Spaghetti is Not a Finger Food and Other Life Lessons,” is about a boy with Asperger’s Syndrome and Little Pickle Press will be launching it as an eBook in November 2012.

My second manuscript, “Who Needs Romeo – A Tale of a Modern Day Juliet,” is a humorous young adult novel that revolves around a 16 year old girl, who struggles to find the inner resolve to deal with the sudden illness of her grandmother, while working in her mother’s bookstore, and trying to have a love life with a boy who swings from being a chivalrous Prince Charming to a neglectful Bad Boy.
